Echo offers a professional design service, the manufacture, installation and grouting of prestressed hollow-core floors.

DESIGN SERVICE

The design service offered by Echo is flexible to suit the requirements of the consulting engineer and the client, with the focus being on a design solution which is both economically viable and aesthetically pleasing.

Professional engineers certification for the slab only.

Structural designs are in accordance with SANS 0100:1992.

INSTALLATION

This service is included in the price and is done by an in-house team. The installation is done by means of mobile or tower crane, depending on the site conditions. The panels are lifted off the delivery trucks and placed onto their supports.

Up to 600m² can be erected in a day with one team which enables the contractor to proceed with the balance of the structure without being delayed by props and wet concrete. No storage space is required on site.

The installation is done using a mobile crane or a tower crane.

GROUTING

This service is also included in the price and is done by an in-house team. Echo grout the longitudinal joints between the slabs, not the ends nor the sides. This is a labour only service, all materials are supplied by the client.

Approx. quantities: 120mm, 150mm, 170mm and 200mm deep slabs require 1m³ of riversand and 10 pockets of ordinary Portland cement per 100m². 250mm deep slabs require 1,5m³ of riversand and 15 pockets of cement per 100m².

The grouting is done by Echo, the materials are supplied by the client.
